The Fair Brings Country-Western Music, Food & Drinks to Downtown Round Rock |
The new East Main Street destination expands neighboring Alcove with live music, a full bar and another reason to spend an evening downtown. |

Downtown Round Rock has a new place to gather, listen to live music and settle in for an evening out. The Fair opened Sept. 25 as an expansion of neighboring Alcove on East Main Street. The country-western-inspired space adds a dedicated stage, pool table and full bar, while guests can order from the same food menu served at Alcove. That combination gives downtown visitors something a little different: a place built around music and socializing that still connects directly to an established neighboring restaurant. Another Reason to Spend an Evening Downtown The Fair gives Round Rock residents another reason to make a night of downtown—meet friends, grab something to eat, hear live music and perhaps wander into a few other local businesses while you're there. And that’s part of what makes a new opening like this interesting. One new gathering place can bring more people downtown, introduce them to neighboring businesses and add a little more energy to Main Street. We’re especially curious to see what The Fair does with its live-music schedule and special events. With Alcove next door and more happening throughout downtown, it could become one of those places that helps turn “Where should we go tonight?” into “Let’s go downtown.” Planning a visit? Because entertainment schedules can change, check The Fair’s current information before heading downtown. |

The pool table caught my eye. Is it easy to get a game in, or is the place pretty packed?
We don’t have a read on pool-table wait times yet. They may vary by night. If you stop in, let us know how easy it is to get a game!
I like more live music downtown, but I wonder how loud East Main Street gets on show nights. Anyone been?
A stage and Alcove's food menu sounds like a good combo. Has anyone caught a show at The Fair yet?
We haven’t caught a show yet, but we’re curious too. If you’ve been, let us know what you thought!
