Halloween Events in Round Rock: Family Guide for Oct. 23–28
Family Halloween events range from inclusive trick-or-treating to preschool fun

Round Rock families have several Halloween events to choose from between Oct. 23 and Oct. 28, and the best fit depends on your child’s age, interests and accessibility needs.

Instead of one giant Halloween calendar, this guide focuses on options that fall inside the current Round Rock Shout Outs event window and have been confirmed by local organizers.

That means families can pick the experience that actually fits them rather than trying to squeeze into every event in town.

The first major option is the Spookout 3v3 Soccer Tournament, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 23, through Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex.

The tournament is designed for youth players ages 7 through 14, with different age groups playing on different days.

It combines competitive soccer with Halloween touches such as costume contests, festive jerseys and creative team names.

Registration deadlines arrive before the newsletter date, so this is mainly useful for families already registered or checking for any remaining late availability.

On Saturday, Oct. 24, Adaptive & Inclusive Trunk or Treat runs from 4 to 6 p.m. at Ascension Seton Williamson.

The free event is designed for individuals with disabilities and their families and includes decorated vehicles, trick-or-treating and a more intentionally welcoming environment.

For families who sometimes skip large community events because the setup does not work well for a child with a disability or limitation, this is one of the most meaningful options on the calendar.

Round Rock Public Library also has several Halloween-themed activities during the week.

Those include a book-character pumpkin activity, a family movie, Halloween storytime and additional seasonal programming for children.

Library events can be a good choice for families looking for something lower-key than a large outdoor festival.

The week closes with the Fall Fun Festival on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

The free event is designed especially for toddlers and preschoolers, making it a useful daytime choice for younger children who may not enjoy late-evening Halloween activities.

Seasonal entertainment and family activities are planned, and costumes are welcome.

Parents should still check live event information before leaving home because outdoor events, schedules and capacity can change.

One popular event is deliberately not included as part of this week’s main roundup.

Hometown Halloween takes place Friday, Oct. 30, after this issue’s Oct. 20–28 coverage window.

We are treating that as an On the Horizon event rather than making it look like it happens during the current week.

For Oct. 23–28, Round Rock families have choices spanning youth sports, inclusive trick-or-treating, library activities and preschool-friendly fall fun.

The simplest plan is to choose one or two that match your family and leave some room to enjoy them.
