Round Rock homeschool families have a new option for structured physical education and athletic development.
Cheetah Crew Homeschool Athletics began Friday classes Sept. 4 at the Round Rock Sports Center. The locally owned program, led by Corey and Mandy Maxon, serves children ages 5 to 17 in three age groups.
Sessions are designed to help young athletes build coordination, agility, strength and teamwork in an active group setting. The Round Rock program gives families a local choice for regular physical education while also creating a place for homeschool students to move, learn and connect with peers.
The owners have said future expansion will depend on demand. Families should confirm current session times, availability and registration details directly with Cheetah Crew before attending. |

I hope they offer scholarships too. Not all families can pay for extra sports.
It's nice to see a group for homeschoolers. Not everyone is looking for team sports, so this is needed.
